Stephens County Fair & Expo

The Stephens County Fair Board produces the Stephens County Free Fair in August.

The County Fair is an old-fashioned long standing tradition. Our celebration spans four fun filled days. Annually we have Exhibits (Open Class, 4-H, OHCE), Livestock Shows, Gospel Music Gala, Baby Crawling Contest, Tractor Driving Contest, Elementary School Day, Pageant, Farmhand Olympics, and a Rodeo.

The County Fair is heavily supported by Stephens County businesses and residents. This event would not be possible if not for the monetary and volunteer support donated by many. The Oklahoma State University Extension office in Stephens County contributes much leadership and hard work, as well as, the Vo-Ag teachers, Ag booster clubs, and volunteers from area businesses and residents.

Volunteers make it possible to provide hospitality, educational, and children’s services to Fair attendees. Our volunteers come from all walks of life and have a variety of interests and talents. Some are retired, some are in school, and some are stay-home moms and some are members of our business community. The one thing that they all have in common is a big smile! Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age or be assigned to work with a parent or guardian. Volunteers receive VIP parking passes.
